Brimming with Excitement: Launching Our Pure Sugar-Free Line
In less than two weeks, our highly anticipated Pure Sugar-Free Line will be ready, and I can hardly contain my excitement! Business is full of surprises, and this launch feels like another adventure waiting to unfold.
Over the years, I've learned that you never truly know how a new product will be received until you put it out into the world. Some products take off like gangbusters, exceeding all expectations, while others build momentum slowly but steadily. It’s all part of the journey.
One of our biggest surprises at Domo Tea was the success of our 1 kg bags. Initially, we sold these exclusively to our café clients, but one day, my assistant and I were brainstorming and decided to list them on our website. We thought, "Why not?" To our astonishment, they became a runaway hit! Today, the 1 kg size accounts for most of our online sales (outside the Christmas rush, of course). It turns out, our customers—like me—are true super fans who need more than just a little taste of their favorite tea.
Interestingly, the trends vary depending on where our products are sold. In stores, our Vanilla Matcha is the undisputed favorite, while online, it’s the London Fog that reigns supreme. And then there’s the delightful surprise of which type of tea is most popular. Personally, I always bring home my top pick—the one I drink three times a day. Let’s just say the 115-gram bag doesn’t quite cut it for me!
As we gear up for the launch of our sugar-free line, I can’t help but wonder how it will be received. I’ll admit, I’m a girl who loves her tea lattes sweetened. I’m the classic 20/80 type: mostly very healthy, but with a touch of indulgence. Drinking my tea any other way feels unimaginable to me.
